Control board for the Automower® charging station
Description
220AC, 230ACX, 260ACX, Solar Hybrid (NiMH)
265ACX (Li-Lon)
Board with two white sockets 4 pin for base plate and 8 pin for power and loop cables.
Installed from year of construction 2010.
or with our "Conversion kit floor panel" already installed.
Board only suitable for the following Base plate AM-575231601
(New base plate from year of construction 2010)
This board is also suitable for loop amplifiers.
We would like to help you with these tips.
What is your LED doing on the charging station?
- It will be solid green
However, you have the error message “No loop signal”. In the “Menuü -> Security -> pin code → Change Pin Code > carry out a new code transmission.
- If that fails, you get the message: “Loop übreak. try again” then check and measure your loop system with a multimeter. AR to AL should be less than 8 ohms. Errors can occur from 10 ohms.
- It flashes green (1/1)
(Not to be confused with the double green blink. Resistance loop between .8-20 ohms.)
Then 98% of the time the loop in your lawn is defective. If you have already checked this and it is OK, do a against test and check the charging station board. Create a test cable (induction cable) about 50cm long. Unplug the power plug (230V) from your socket. Remove AF, AR and SK (Guide) cables from your charging station. Plug in the test cord at AR and AL (Left Right). Look for the “PINS” in the charging station. (These can slip backwards into the charging station. Then you no longer have contact!) After connecting the test cable, plug the 230V power plug (transformer) into the socket.
What is the LED doing now?
- If it now lights up green, then the charging station circuit board is probably (99.5%)not defectivet! Then you need to check your loop system and guide wire (SK) with the multimeter. The value must be less than 7.0 ohms. (Not to be confused with KOhm (kiloOhm) or MOhm (megaOhm).
- If it still flashes green, check the two connectors and the wiring harness again in advance. is everything ok Then most likely the charging station circuit board is defective. This error (defective) can occur but is rarely the case.
- The Automower® does not go into its charging station. (or not always)
Then there is probably a mistake in the "N" or "F" Signal. First check the base plate before replacing an LS board.
The bottom plate (white connector with 4 pins). Two each are for the "N" (Nearby signal approx. 1 meter) field and two pins for the "F" (Remote signal 4-8 meters) Field responsible. You can check this base plate with a millimeter. New base plate (rough, plastic screws, from 2010) Pin2 (white) and 3 (yellow) for F signal set value less than 5 ohms. N signal pin 1 (lukewarm) and 4 (red) setpoint also below 5 ohms.
(If you still have the old base plate up to model year 2009 (smooth with iron nails), then it is best to convert it with the kit right away.

- The Automower® no longer charging, no charging current.
(Charging current setpoint G2,220AC approx. 1400-1800mA. 230ACX over 2500mA. 260, 265 over 3500mA)
The charging station circuit board controls NOT the charging current for the Automower®! If your Automower® If there is, the error is often someone else, very rarely the charging station circuit board is to blame. Often it is the battery, transformer, transformer cable, corrosion on the charging contacts of the charging station or on the Automower®, ...
- It blinks solid yellow, blue or red.
Then you are wrong with this article. Since the LS light only has the color "green" Has. However, if you should see or glow yellow, blue or red, you have a G3 xxx model
·
- LED on the charging station is off, does not light up.
Then the charging station circuit board can be defective, but it doesn't have to be. Very often the fault lies in the transformer cable (low-voltage cable) which has often been kinked, pressed or scratched. Check the entire length of the transformer cable very carefully! Corrosion on the plugs and pins can also often be the reason. For this purpose check all four plugs with pins (LS, transformer, transformer cable). In the event of corrosion, only replacement will help in the long run.
The transformer itself can also be defective. To check this, you can use a multimeter to read and measure the voltage (values on the transformer type plate. Output! Attention AC voltage). We recommend always placing the transformer where it is protected from rain and sun.
