Advantages of a sliding plate / saucers / protective plate
The skid plate protects the blade disc.
- Knives are protected, the knife a bit worn lower.
- Knife and blade bolts pollute less.
- Knife and blade bolts stick less.

More mowing performance (5-10%)
Why?
The skid plate is located under the Blades disc and is supported with its own ball bearing irrespectively of the Blades disc (diameter shaft / blade motor). This skid plate ensures that the black bladed disk is not slowed down by the grass or uneven surfaces. The consequence is that is reduces the power consumption of the blade motor and thus the performance of the mowing operation is improved.
